About · Joseph
A student, photographer and maker in Vancouver.
Photography and 3D printing started as hobbies. They’ve become my ways of noticing everyday life and turning digital models into physical objects.

Practice
Quiet observation and patient making.
I’m Joseph, a student based in Vancouver. I’m drawn to landscapes, street scenes and everyday moments, and I try to photograph them as they are. Portraits are a smaller part of my work, with the same natural, documentary approach.
I photograph with a Sony A7C II and Fujifilm X-A2, and use a Bambu Lab A1 to print client-supplied model files. Sanding, assembly and finished-object photography are available when needed. I do not currently offer original design or modelling services.
I take on freelance projects across Metro Vancouver and can work with you in English or Chinese. After reviewing your request, I’ll confirm the scope, timing, materials and price with you before starting.
The idea behind the name
Give traces form.
A trace is a mark left behind. A fold gives a flat surface form. To me, photography leaves a trace of a moment, while printing turns a digital model into something tangible. Tracefold connects the two: quiet observation and patient making.
